The Los Angeles Police Department ( LAPD ) announced Monday that a Latina singer was shot and killed early on Saturday morning in the San Fernando Valley.

Authorities say Maria de la Rosa, 22, died from a capturing that took place on Bryant Street, south of Tampa Avenue, in the Northridge neighborhood, just before 1: 30 am on November 22. Witnesses described two offenders escorting a car parked on Bryant Street. In a statement released on Monday night, LAPD officials said that several shots were fired at the patients ' vehicles that were parked nearby.
