Nissan is enhancing its global product lineup with an electric pickup truck, which has secured a confirmed market in North America.

Audi has unveiled exclusive images of the RS 5 for the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix.

The Frontier Pro is scheduled to enter the Mexican market in October 2026, however, its availability in the US is not currently part of the brand's announced plans.

General Motors has identified an oil leak issue in the 2027 Corvette, and the company has already developed a solution to address the problem.

A Chinese-developed model is set to be exported to various regions worldwide, offering a versatile design that can accommodate up to five passengers. The vehicle's specifications will be tailored to meet the specific needs of each country, with a range of robust image and mechanical options available.

The Frontier Pro will be available with a range of powertrain options, including plug-in hybrid (PHEV) systems paired with 1.5 and 2.0-litre engines, as well as a traditional combustion engine. The specific configuration will vary by market, with electrified versions slated for release in Latin America, Asia, and Oceania.

A notable innovation in the vehicle is its V2L technology, enabling the use of battery energy to power external electrical devices.

The ability to connect various devices, including work tools and camping equipment, can be particularly beneficial in areas where access to the power grid is limited or unavailable.

Nissan is set to launch its vehicle in international markets for the first time, marking its entry into countries outside of China. The company's expansion will also extend to Latin America, the Philippines, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand, where it will be available under the name Navara Pro in certain regions.

Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co. Ltd., a Chinese joint venture of the Nissan brand, designed and produced the vehicle. This development aligns with the company's strategy to capitalize on China's industrial and technological capabilities to manufacture vehicles for global export.

Nissan has yet to confirm the availability of the Frontier Pro in the US market. However, potential complications arising from US restrictions on certain technologies and products with ties to China may impact this possibility, without definitively ruling out the model's future introduction in the US.

US buyers of the conventional Frontier model, which features combustion engines, will remain in a holding pattern until an official announcement is made regarding its availability.

The introduction of the electrified variant in Mexico marks a significant milestone for Nissan's pickup lineup, however, its potential presence in the US market remains uncertain.
