The interior features a bed of 2,03 meters long and 1,20 meters wide. The foldable mattress is nine centimeters thick and seeks to offer a good level of comfort during the nights of travel.
It also includes two chairs and a camping table, ventilation reels for the front side windows and opaque racks for the windows. There will even be a dashboard for the glass panoramic ceiling in the units that incorporate it.
According to Volkswagen, all these accessories can be safely and compactly stored inside the vehicle when they are not in use.
One of the new features is California mode, a feature that allows you to configure certain lighting and comfort options and keep USB ports active. It also prepares the interior for rest and you can use the air conditioning system to heat or cool the cabin for up to 48 continuous hours.
The California app will incorporate suitable charging stations along the route to facilitate travel planning. and the ID. The California Cruise will be able to operate as a mobile power source with a continuous power of 2 kW and a peak of 3.6 kW.
Volkswagen has not yet revealed what the autonomy of this new electric car will be. What he confirmed is that the first deliveries are scheduled for early 2027, when a new stage for California will officially begin.
