A California couple was arrested in Mexico and extradited to California for their alleged involvement in a man’s stroke murder in 2025 in Fresno County.
Misty Gómez, 32, and Antonio García, 40, both residents of Tulare County, were detained in Mexico in connection with a murder in the city of Clovis.
The Clovis Police Department said on December 18, 2025, the victim, identified as Geoffrey Bernardi, 37, was found severely beaten near a channel at the intersection of Barstow Avenue and Peach Avenue.
