A 31-year-old Hispanic man and father of three died from stab wounds in San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, on October 7, 2026. As of Sunday, October 18, no individuals had been arrested in connection with the homicide.
On Wednesday, October 7, at approximately 8:10 p.m., a man, later identified as Valentín Onofre Martínez, was located by Orange County Sheriff's Office deputies who had responded to a report of a person with multiple gunshot wounds in the vicinity of Santa Barbara Street and Los Ríos Street.
An adult male was discovered stabbed and subsequently transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival.
