According to the New York Police Department ( NYPD), 36-year-old Jonathan Robles has been detained and is facing charges of murder and criminal possession of a gun.
On Sunday morning, police received a 911 call about an unconscious man in the garden at 9:43 a. m.
The woman was discovered by officers without prompt action and with what appeared to be trauma and injuries from a light gun.
Near East Drive and East 74th Street, the body was found close to a course.
While the New York City Forensic Medical Office performed the autopsy, the government had never revealed the victim's identity to the government.
According to a NYPD spokesman, an autopsy may be required to actually determine the cause of death and provide more details about what transpired.
According to the authorities, Robles and the target have no known romantic ties.
