A Spanish man allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at safety personnel inside the Federal Building in downtown Los Angeles at his arraignment hearing, where he pleaded not guilty.

On Monday, December 1, Jose Francisco Jovel, of Jovel, 54, was accused of dumping the incendiary devices at the provincial hospital. Using Molotov cocktails and a statement from the Department of Homeland Security ( DHS), Jovel reportedly arrived at the Los Angeles Federal Building, which is located at 300 Los Angeles Street, and began yelling anti-Immigration and customs enforcement ( ICE ) messages at security personnel.
