An East Los Angeles AutoZone store was looted twice amid illegal street takeover incidents that occurred in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) responded at approximately 3:00 a.m. this Sunday to the intersection of East Olympic Boulevard and South Atlantic Boulevard, where the looting of the business occurred by people who had gathered for an illegal street takeover.
According to the LASD, the people who broke into the store took possession of merchandise, in addition to causing damage to the facility. No arrests were reported in connection with this incident.
