A resident of Apple Valley has been charged with two charges of murder in the accident, allegedly related to street racing, in which two students of the last year of preparation died, the San Bernardino County Prosecutor’s Office said on Friday.
Terry Lamar Easter, 50, was driving at a speed of up to 117 miles per hour (188 km/h) when he hit the Acura car, in which the two teenagers were traveling, on August 14, in Victorville.

The California Road Patrol (CHP) said a yellow Chevrolet Camaro and a black Dodge Charger were traveling at excess speed when they hit the Acura, a vehicle that was torn in half, near the intersection of Ridgecrest Road and Elmwood Drive.
