Two individuals from Colombia were arrested by deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) for allegedly being linked to violent incidents that occurred recently in Los Angeles.
The two South American men were detained in the Rolling Hills Estates area after automatic license plate readers warned law enforcement that a vehicle linked to a violent carjacking a few days earlier had been identified.
In a press release, the Los Angeles Sheriff reported that the incident involving the carjacking occurred on July 11 in the Hawthorne area.
