After a cousin requested a security check, authorities discovered a person's body covered in a blanket on the door of a West Virginia home.

According to prison documents reviewed by the Law & Crime, the believe, Leroy Hunt, 35, was detained and charged with first-degree murder and child abuse with a risk of injury.

Friday night, the gentleman was admitted to the Southwestern Regional Jail and Correctional Facility.

The body was discovered on the home's balcony.

A neighbor asked the Mingo County Sheriff's Office to test a house on Triton Lane, northwest of Delbarton, around 10 am on Friday.
