Thousands of fans gathered outside and inside Miami's Kaseya Center on Sunday were left in a state of surprise and disappointment when Argentine singer Tini Stoessel abruptly cancelled her performance just minutes before its scheduled start. The cancellation occurred in the context of her ongoing international tour, "FUTTTURA World Tour".
A sudden announcement displayed on the premises' screens caught the public's attention, prompting a subsequent statement from the event producer and the artist themselves to clarify the situation and absolve the performer of any liability.
The sudden suspension of the event was implemented by Ake Music, the organizing company, due to a failure to meet essential technical and logistical requirements that had been specified in advance.
Critical systems, including lighting, sound, video displays, and internal communication networks, experienced a prolonged outage, rendering it infeasible to conduct scheduled sound checks and, more fundamentally, validate security protocols essential for the complex aerial performances and scenic flights planned for the event.
Tini addressed her audience through social media, expressing her emotional distress and sense of powerlessness in being unable to connect with them. The artist emphasized that she and her team worked diligently under tight deadlines to adjust the technical proposal, while prioritizing the integrity and safety of both the public and her collaborators.
Safety and respect for the audience are non-negotiable priorities in any live event or production.
Tini's team has confirmed that she was prepared and fully dressed to perform on stage. To ensure the comfort of the audience, refunds for ticket purchases will be processed automatically through the official ticket sales platforms.
