Taylor Swift continues to step strong on the musical scene, proof of this is the advance on the new music video of her single “Patient Zero”. And it’s that the star raised in Nashville, put all the meat on the roaster by having as protagonists Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.
It was through her Instagram account and other official digital platforms that the singer of “You Belong With Me” placed a 13-second clip corresponding to the audiovisual piece whose premiere is scheduled for Sunday, September 27 at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The show featured two well-known Hollywood stars: Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell. In addition, it was revealed that the photograph was taken by the Mexican Oscar-winning director, Emmanuel Lubezki.
The first scenes show Swift washing her hands and two bodies sinking into the water. Seconds later, a black rose and two women standing next to a tomb are spotted by a Swift with eyes full of tears.

The single "Patient Zero" is part of the deluxe version of their twelfth studio album, titled "The Life of a Showgirl: Encore". According to a publication by the artist, this will have four unreleased songs that will be released soon.
“I’m looking forward to telling you that my new single ‘Patient Zero’ will be released on September 25,” Swift said on the cover.
For this reason, the 36-year-old celebrity chose the gala of the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) where she will receive the first award for best artistic direction.
In addition to the debut of her videoclip, Swift celebrates being the second artist with the most nominations of the night (nine in total), including: Best Director, Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and Best Pop Artist.
