Christian González signed a contract extension in exchange for $135 million. Of this figure, the corner of the Patriots would have insured about $102 million. The 24-year-old star remains in the highest financial position in the history of the NFL.

González came from playing a good performance in the last Super Bowl. The player managed to register a coverage rating PFF of 86.8.
