Terence Crawford mocks Ilia Topuria after being beaten in the UFC
After the end of the event at the White House, Terence Crawford reacted in X and sent a harsh message to the Spaniard
Boxer Terence Crawford used his social media profiles to write about Ilia Topuria's result. The MMA competitor lost his undefeated record to Justin Gaethje during Sunday's card in the United States capital.
This reaction arises from the comments from the month of February. On that date, Topuria said in a video interview that he would dominate Terence Crawford and Shakur Stevenson in a contact match.

In that talk, the athlete explained the differences in technique between both sports. “In a fight, they can't beat me, I would mop the floor with both of them,” said the MMA exponent in reference to professional boxers.
Topuria questioned the knowledge of the boxers in ground combat areas. “They only know one part of the fight game, which is boxing, but they don't know everything about it,” he detailed in his past statements.
"The fight, the game on the ground, is different. I swear to God, if I had to face both of them, I would beat them," said the fighter before his weekend commitment.
Reaction on internet platforms
After the end of the event, Terence Crawford logged into his account on the X network. The boxer wrote a mocking text about Topuria's performance regarding the final result in the octagon.
The North American boxer cited the promises of his counterpart. “This is the guy who said he would knock me out and beat up me and Shakur at the same time?” posted Terence Crawford.
The online message included laughing icons at the close of the prayer. Topuria lost the 155-pound belt by not going out to fight in round five on orders from the doctors in the corner.
Terence Crawford's words reignite the skills debate between boxing exponents and practitioners of MMA disciplines.
