15-year-old Hispanic, sports promise, dies stabbed in Los Angeles

A Hispanic teenager, a student at Rosemead High School and a promising sports star, was stabbed to death this Friday outside an elementary school in the city of El Monte, in Los Angeles County.
Aziel Zacapala, 15, suffered the attack around 1:00 p.m. Friday outside Potrero School, in the 9700 block of Fern Street, near the intersection with North Potrero Avenue, in El Monte.
When emergency services arrived at the scene, they found the young man with serious injuries, so he was rushed to a local hospital, where he died a short time later.
