Members of a San Fernando Valley community were outraged by the raid carried out by federal immigration agents on a church in North Hills, where a man was arrested during a food distribution.

Leaders of the North Hills United Methodist Church The Hills denounced on Monday the operation that occurred on January 29 at the place of worship, located at 15435 Rayen Street, and mentioned that the person detained helps with children's ministries. “With sadness and pain in our hearts, we want to share that on January 29 our beloved church was desecrated by immigration agents who entered our property wearing masks and carrying weapons,” the Methodist church posted on social media.
