Due to the heavy rains that Southern California has been experiencing since Tuesday night, Los Angeles city officials have extended evacuation orders.

According to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, mudflows are affecting Wrightwood in San Bernardino County, according to a information posted on social media.

Due to a regular limited discharge from the Tujunga Dam to prevent possible flooding in the area, Bass reported that an evacuation order was issued for the Riverwood area. This procedure has been used in the history as normal. The Los Angeles Police Department ( LAPD ) has issued a mandatory evacuation order, according to the mayor, and residents of the Riverwood neighborhood are being personally informed of this requirement.
