A Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) helicopter had to make an emergency landing after being hit by a drone while collaborating this Tuesday afternoon with firefighters fighting a vegetation fire in Encino.

Although it was a small fire, which was fought quickly, helicopters with the capacity to drop water were deployed to prevent the flames from spreading.

During the attack on the fire, the LAPD reported that a drone had had a collision with one of its helicopters, which had been sent to the scene of the fire, so the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing.
