A storm of EF-0 caused some damage in the Boyle Heights neighborhood on Christmas Day, including shattered panels and damaged roofs, according to the National Weather Service ( NWS).
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass traveled to the place with NWS professionals to assess the damage being caused by the strong breezes at the tornado's site as well as examine surveillance camera images.
The EF-0 storm, according to the NWS, struck on December 25 at around 10:10 a. m. with winds exceeding 80 mph.
