The disappearance of two young people from Acatlán de Juárez, Jalisco, keeps their families and authorities on alert after their disappearance.

According to the first reports, both left their municipality for Puerto Vallarta to attend to a supposed job offer and since then communication with them has been lost.

They are Melissa Anahí Carranza Contreras, 19, and Violeta Alejandra Santana Bueno, 21, who were last seen on July 27.

According to their relatives, the young women accepted a job proposal that included salary, food and accommodation.

After embarking on the trip, their families stopped receiving calls and messages. Both of their cell phones remained off, which increased the concern of their loved ones.

Melissa Anahí Carranza Contreras is 19 years old. Among his distinctive features are a tattoo of a tarantula on his belly and another of a jellyfish on his left arm.

Violeta Alejandra Santana Bueno, 21, has a scar on the septum of her nose, a mole on the left side of her mouth and several tattoos on both arms.

The possible use of false job offers as a deception and recruitment mechanism has been pointed out in other cases registered in Jalisco.

However, until now there is no public information that allows us to affirm that Melissa and Alejandra were victims of any criminal organization, so this possibility is part of the lines of investigation and not a confirmed fact.

The Person Search Commission of the State of Jalisco and the State Prosecutor's Office activated actions to try to locate the young women.

Meanwhile, his relatives carried out mobilizations and public calls to obtain information that would allow them to know his whereabouts.
