Dodge has announced its return to the top tier of NASCAR competition, marking the brand's comeback after a 14-year absence. The U.S. automaker will rejoin the series in 2027, partnering with Kaulig Racing as its primary collaborator.

Kia has announced that the 2027 model of its electric vehicle, the EV6, will retain its current lineup of seven distinct versions without any changes.

Stellantis' U.S. brands have gained a significant competitor, according to a recent announcement made by Tim Kuniskis, head of the division, at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This development marks a notable shift in the market, as it has been over 16 years since a new manufacturer entered the main category in 2007.

Ford has conceptualized a vehicle designed to deter theft by remaining stationary, thereby minimizing the opportunity for potential thieves.

The scooter is set to make its debut in February 2027, coinciding with the traditional pre-Daytona 500 Mile preparation days. Initially, it will be pitted against two other vehicles, with Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota being the participating manufacturers.

Stellantis' selection of Kaulig Racing aligns with the company's strategic approach. The team's existing partnership as Ram's official entity in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has been expanded to include representing Dodge in the Cup Series.

The identities of the drivers involved are currently undisclosed. The organization anticipates releasing this information during the championship weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Dodge SRT Racing, a division overseeing Stellantis' sports activities in North America, will spearhead the program, encompassing both NASCAR and NHRA events.

The brand will unveil its latest racing car at a special event preceding the start of the season. The presentation is set to take place on December 4, 2026, at the Snowball Derby in Florida.

Dodge's leadership in combustion engines is a priority, according to the company's manager, Kuniskis. He emphasized that the focus is on expediting the development process rather than prolonging it indefinitely.

The team's leader expressed confidence in their ability to rebound within a year, despite widespread skepticism. He pointed to their progress as evidence of their capabilities. Additionally, he suggested that they could opt for a three-year approach, dedicating that time to planning and testing, or instead focus on direct track development. The team's leader also emphasized that a slow pace has never been characteristic of Dodge's approach.

Rams' recent involvement in NASCAR, particularly his return to the truck series in 2026, has provided a foundation for his latest endeavor.

Dodge boasts a rich history in the Cup Series, with its first championship victory achieved in 1953. The manufacturer's most recent involvement in the series concluded in 2012, when Brad Keselowski secured the championship driving the iconic Dodge Charger No. 2, nicknamed "Blue Deuce".

The brand has achieved 217 wins in this category, with 57 of those victories occurring within its most recent 12-year period spanning 2001 to 2012. A new opportunity has arisen to further solidify this record and reestablish a strong presence that its followers have been eagerly anticipating.

The Dodge brand is set to experience a significant promotional boost with the return of its iconic models to the racing circuit. The Charger model is currently available in two high-performance variants, the R/T with 420 horsepower and the Scat Pack with 550 horsepower. Furthermore, the upcoming Charger Super Bee 2027 is expected to showcase an even more aggressive and sporty design, boasting an impressive 600 horsepower output.

The brand also includes the Durango SRT Hellcat as one of its top-tier high-performance offerings, boasting 710 horsepower and accommodating up to seven passengers.
