The U. S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service ( FSIS ) issued a statement on Wednesday announcing to consumers that approximately 25, 000 pounds of frozen buffalo chicken had been pulled due to a violation in its inspection procedure.

The company's containers, which had expiration dates of 8 July 2026 and 29 June 2027, were taken from the Boston-based Shanghai Ravioli Corporation and distributed to numerous retail stores in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

The food removed from the business does not comply with the correct evaluation procedure, according to the FSIS, and it contains false record labels marketed under the establishment number "EST. " " 18004," meaning that stores and shops were told to take these items out of their stores.

Although there haven't been any confirmed cases of illnesses related to this food's consumption, the organization advises consumers to throw the product away or transfer it to the store where they were originally purchased for a refund, because products that don't have the proper inspections may violate health regulations and put consumers at risk for their safety and health.
