The mountains of Colorado once again tested drivers and engineers in one of the most demanding competitions in motorsports. This time, the one who ended up celebrating was Ford, which achieved absolute victory in the 104th edition of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb thanks to an electric vehicle developed to challenge all limits.

The main protagonist was the Super Mustang Mach-E EV, a competition prototype that combines enormous power with an advanced technological load. At the wheel was the Frenchman Romain Dumas, one of the most recognized specialists in this type of test.

His climb to the top was recorded in 8 minutes and 18.202 seconds, a mark sufficient to beat the rest of the participants and add a new chapter to Ford's history in racing.

A triumph with a special flavor

The victory comes at a symbolic moment for the American company. This year, Ford celebrates 125 years of activity in the world of racing, a tradition that began with Henry Ford himself using racing as a showcase to demonstrate the potential of his mechanical developments.

The Super Mustang Mach-E EV was developed together with STARD and represents one of the most extreme projects created by Ford Performance.
