KFC, a prominent fast food chain known for its fried chicken offerings, has made a public announcement regarding adjustments to its menu pricing. Additionally, the company has unveiled a revamped presentation of its signature chicken cube, a move that is likely to generate interest among new customers.

A new product, "Go Buckets," was officially launched on Monday, October 5, offering customers a value-packed combination meal consisting of nuggets, chicken strips, or alitas paired with fried potatoes or papaya fries, all available for a price of $3.49.

Colonel Harland Sanders and Pete Harman initially introduced a scaled-down version of the chain's signature chicken cubes in 1957. These early cubes consisted of chicken, pancakes, and a half-liter serving of sauce.

The fast-food chain has introduced a new design for their food packaging, taking into consideration customers who prefer to eat on the go. The compact, cube-shaped containers are intended to be easily carried by hand or placed on a vehicle's tray.

Melissa Cash, Director of Marketing at KFC EE, stated that consumers are increasingly seeking food that accommodates their daily routines rather than the other way around. In response, the introduction of Go Buckets allows customers to sample KFC offerings in a convenient, shareable format, either as a solo meal or as a group experience. By offering more value for customers and simplifying the way they can enjoy their favorite KFC food, the company is adapting to changing consumer habits.

KFC has introduced a more budget-friendly menu option for new customers in response to rising food prices, which have increased by over 3%, and shifting consumer behavior, as individuals opt to reduce discretionary spending, leading to a decline in sales for fast-food establishments.

A recent study conducted by Datassential and cited by KFC found that consumer demand for snacks is on the rise, with up to 87% of individuals opting for snacks in addition to their main meals. This trend suggests that the introduction of the Go Buckets is well-timed to meet this growing demand.
