A 3-year-old boy, allegedly kidnapped during a home invasion Wednesday morning in Van Nuys, was rescued safely, while a man was arrested in connection with this case, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:13 a.m. in the 7600 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, near the intersection with Saticoy Street, in Van Nuys.

According to the LAPD, the child was found safe and sound, and it is believed that the incident could be related to a child custody conflict.
