One of the most delicate goal targets in the diplomatic relationship between Mexico and the United States is Inzunza Noriega, 62, who was charged with narcoterrorism in May by U. S. prosecutors, making him one of the first such charge brought against him.
El Sagitario even serves as the father of Pedro Insunza Coronel, alias" El Pichon," who was killed on November 30, 2025 in Sinaloa and was also wanted by the United States because he was El Chapo Isidro's faction's right-hand person.
The father and son were charged by the U. S. Department of Justice with operating a generation and smuggling network of drugs, notably fentanyl, with a direct impact on the U. S. market.
Local media reported that the arrest was made following a search and that three additional people were detained in the same function coordinated by military and governmental agencies, Inzunza Noriega included.
Inzunza Noriega's arrest comes as a result of growing transnational pressure on the production and trafficking of synthetic drugs, and social media images show how big an operation is being carried out by authorities both on land and in the atmosphere.
