A Kenyan man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for conspiring to carry out a" 9/11-style attack" on Atlanta's tallest building for an African-based terrorist organization.

Cholo Abdi Abdullah, of 34 years, was given two consecutive life sentences, as well as life in prison on supervised release, for plotting to harm the 55-story Bank of America Plaza in Atlanta as part of a campaign led by Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen, also known as al-Shabaab.
