Halle Berry's eldest daughter, Nahla Aubry, 18, has submitted a written statement to the Los Angeles Superior Court in support of her mother, refuting allegations of aggression made by Halle Berry's ex-husband, French actor Olivier Martinez, in the ongoing custody dispute over their 11-year-old son, Maceo.

A legal dispute escalated following the issuance of a temporary restraining order against Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry, obtained by her ex-partner Martinez in late September. The order stemmed from Martinez's allegations of a domestic violence incident involving asphyxiation of their child. Berry has denied the claims and sought to reinstate the original 50/50 shared custody arrangement.

Aubry stated in the court filing that he had been living with his younger brother prior to relocating to Massachusetts to pursue his university education, a time during which he did not observe any violent behavior or physical altercations by his mother towards Maceo or anyone else.

Aubry described his mother as a gentle and non-violent individual, stating that he had never witnessed her physically abusing or harming anyone, including Maceo. He also portrayed her as an affectionate and nurturing parent who prioritized the academic and therapeutic growth of her children, striving to create a positive and supportive family environment.

Aubry expressed her discontent with the public scrutiny surrounding the case, criticizing Martinez's position. She stated that she felt exploited in a dispute aimed at tarnishing her mother's reputation, and voiced concern over the negative media impact on her younger brother's well-being.

Actress Halle Berry has alleged that her ex-partner Martinez is obstructing Maceo's therapeutic and educational progress, as well as manipulating the child within their ongoing legal dispute. The next scheduled court hearing is set to take place on October 16.
