The American artist shared through her social media the most captivating corners of her recent real estate acquisition: an imposing mansion located in the exclusive community of Hidden Hills, in Los Angeles County.
Through several posts on her Instagram account, the singer of “On The Floor” gave her millions of followers a look at her welcoming home, thought to enjoy alongside her family.
“When the mood board takes life,” she wrote to accompany the pictures of her new home.
Far from choosing the austere minimalism that prevails in the great properties of celebrities, JLo’s new home design stands out for a careful combination of clear tones, natural light and decorative pieces that reflect their personality.
Among the elements most commented by its followers and lovers of decoration are three central details that mark the character of the space: a powdered pink-tone sofa, a red wine-colored piano and abundant floral decorations and pieces of art.
Design is not limited to the interior. The property fully embraces California lifestyle thanks to its large windows and outdoors connected with the surroundings. A private garden, terrace areas designed for meetings and a large swimming pool in white tones complete the exterior of the mansion, which the artist bought in February for $17.5 million.
Since she acquired the property, JLo had not shown much of the place until now.The artist had to do a profound renovation to turn the mansion into the home of her dreams.
According to Elle Decoration magazine, the mansion covers about 800 square meters and features five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, an open kitchen and a custom movie room. The complex also includes a guest house, a swimming pool with jacuzzi and equestrian facilities with stable and a private horse ride.
