The SAG-AFTRA union released the list of nominees who will compete for the legendary statue known as" The Actor" on Sunday, March 1, just over a month before the 32nd annual SAG Awards ceremony, now known as the Actor Awards.

The ceremony, which was hosted by Janelle James ( Abbott Elementary ) and Connor Storrie ( Heated Rivalry ), was live on Netflix's YouTube channel. Sean Astin, the union's president, addressed the audience with remarks. The director mentioned the name change to" Actor Awards" in his speech, stating that it will help the occasion connect with its recognizable statuette," The Actor," and to make it more accessible to a wider audience. With seven nominations overall," Sinners" came in second place with five, followed by" Frankenstein,"" Hamnet," and" Marty Supreme," with two nominations each. " Battle After Battle" came in second place with the most nominations this year. The Theater in television has received five votes, while the global trend" Adolescence" and" The Light Lotus" both received four. The night does recognize Harrison Ford with the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award for his storied acting career, which includes works like" Indiana Jones"," Star Wars," and" The Age of Adeline," to name a few. On March 1, 2026, the Shrine Auditorium &amp, Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California, will host the 32nd Actors Awards meeting. This will be available to watch live on Netflix starting at 8 am ET/ 5 am Platinum, followed by a pre-show at 7 pm ET/ 4 pm PT.
