According to the Morris County Medical Examiner's statement, the cause of Ace Frehley's death, co-founder of the rock group KISS, has been confirmed months after his departure. The singer died from blunt force trauma to the brain as a result of a fall, according to the report obtained by People magazine. His death, which took place on October 16 in Morristown, New Jersey, was determined to be accidental. His family initially revealed his passing in a statement in which they expressed deep grief and sorrow. " We are completely devastated. We had the honor of allowing him to be surrounded by loving and peaceful words, thoughts, prayers, and intentions as he left this world," they said.

Before his death, he canceled events.

On September 25, Ace Frehley, whose real name was Paul Frehley, shared a message on Instagram about the initial "minor" fall with his fans.

However, he had to cancel his scheduled performances, including the remainder of his 2025 tour, due to health issues.

Frehley co-founded KISS in 1973 and left in 1982. He is renowned for his" Spaceman" persona and iconic makeup. He left and founded his own band Frehley's Comet, which would later lead to a successful solo career. With his album Space Invader in 2014, he became the only KISS member to rank among the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart with a solo album. Frehley will be remembered for his unwavering rock spirit and his legacy in addition to his musical legacy. His daughter Monique and his wife Jeanette Trerotola are his only survivors.
