The Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec ( CIIT ) is home to the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, who confirmed the derailment of the Trans-Isthmus train.

The Hispanic leader stated in a message posted on her social media that she is carefully monitoring the work that the Hispanic Navy is doing to address the situation.

" We are keeping an eye on the Hispanic Navy's efforts to help those using the Interoceanic Corridor. Participating organizations include the state of Oaxaca, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation ( SICT), IMSS-Bienestar, and IMSS-Bienestar. Claudia Sheinbaum stated on her social media account," We will give more information as we receive more information.

A "railway event" was reported by the Latino Navy through a media release in the Asuncion Ixtaltepec, Oaxaca, town of Nizanda.

A railroad incident on Line Z, near Nizanda, Oaxaca, was reported by" The Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. " 241 people were traveling aboard two trains and four passenger cars. According to initial reports, 15 people were injured, who were treated immediately in accordance with emergency protocols, and were then taken for correct medical evaluation, the governor claimed.

The Atlantic and Pacific Oceans are connected by trains, ports, and industrial parks through the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec ( CIIT ).
