The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to gather stars on their roster. The latest addition completely shields his rotation. Tarik Skubal joins the Dodgers and in this way they managed to bring together four of the five most dominant pitchers in the Major Leagues.

The Dodgers' dominant rotation

First on Codify Baseball's list is recent signing Tarik Skubal with a 2.46 ERA. Since the 2023 season, Skubal lowered his average to 2.80 with Detroit. Since then it has maintained that line.

Since 2022, Skubal has won up to 52 wins from the Detroit mound. In 682 innings pitched, the Seattle-born pitcher has only allowed 200 earned runs.

Next in the rotation is Blake Snell. This pitcher has good records in seasons with San Diego, San Francisco and the last two seasons with the Dodgers. In 476.1 innings pitched, Snell has only allowed 149 earned runs. His best season was in 2023 in which he had a 2.25 ERA.

It was obvious that Shohei Ohtani was going to be on this list. The Japanese pitcher has been on the mound for 430.1 innings. Ohtani has only allowed 121 earned runs since 2022.

Shohei Ohtani is having a dream season. In 14 appearances this season they have only been able to score 17 earned runs. So far his effectiveness remains at 1.49.

The other pitcher who completes this dreaded rotation is Yoshinobu Yamamoto. His most modest campaign was the first (2024), in which he had an ERA of 3.00. Overall, Yamamoto has been on the mound for 397.1 innings. The Japanese pitcher has allowed 119 earned runs in the Major Leagues.
