Commemorative US passport comes with a photo of Trump and a warning caption
A warning legend dictated by Donald Trump appears in the new design of the commemorative passport for the 250th anniversary of American Independence
One week after commemorating 250 years of the independence of the United States, President Donald Trump shared an image of the design that the special edition of passports issued by the government will have.
The identity document will be distributed among Americans interested in requesting it during the implementation phase, as long as there are copies available, since its edition will be limited.
Through a message shared on the Truth Social platform, the nation's president showed what the inside of the document looks like, accompanied by a message addressed to those who intend to enter the country.
As Trump had specified to the team in charge of redesigning the passport, a page is included where several elements appear, such as: an image of him in front of the Resolved Desk, the text of the original Declaration of Independence in the background and his signature at the bottom.
On the opposite page there is an illustration of the painting called “The Declaration of Independence,” a work initially created in 1817 and completed a year later by the painter and architect John Trumbull.
Unlike the sketch of the document presented in April, in addition to a different image of the president, the legend 'Welcome, but behave!'" was also added, which is a real warning, because throughout the months involved in the return of the New York magnate to Washington, he has shown that his voice does not tremble to order the deployment of the National Guard when some intimidating action puts national security at risk.
With the redesigns and adjustments demanded by the American president in different national symbols, it is evident that his objective is to leave the seal of his work at the head of government.
However, his detractors consider it inappropriate that his signature appears on some banknotes, something unprecedented for a sitting president.
It should be noted that, while Americans prepare to celebrate another year of their nation's Independence with Donald Trump leading several of the events, on the other side of the world a declared war on Iran continues to develop, a country that is denied the independence to continue with its nuclear program.
