Southern California is in a state of emergency as a result of a significant winter storm that has been affecting the entire area since Tuesday evening.

Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino districts in California each received a state of emergency on Wednesday, according to California Governor Gavin Newsom.

Locations close to the marks of recent fire are being warned to evacuate because of the risk of mudflows and landslides.
