Jamie Raskin, representative of Maryland, intends to resume an investigation into President Donald Trump's medical history and therefore demands the publication of the complete list of the medications he takes and the names of the doctors in charge of his health.

After undergoing his routine biannual medical examination late last month at the Walter Reedel National Military Medical Center, the New York tycoon said the results were perfect.

"I just finished my six-month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything went PERFECT. Thank you to the excellent doctors and staff!" he wrote on the Truth Social platform.

However, through a letter addressed to Captain Sean Barbabella, a doctor who treats the 80-year-old president, the top Democrat on the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee questions the reason for having required the support of 22 specialists to declare that the head of the nation was in “excellent health” in his most recent physical examination.

"As the oldest person ever elected to the White House, President Trump turned 80 last Sunday. Given these troubling medical reports, so many unexplained symptoms of illness, and the existence of nearly two dozen different doctors in charge of the case, the American people deserve honest and serious answers about whether he is qualified for the position," part of the document states.

Jamie Raskin also requested that, before July 2, Sean Barbabella attend a hearing before the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives where the topic to be addressed will be the health of the head of the nation.

It should be noted that during his previous visit to the national medical center carried out in October of last year, in addition to a physical examination, Trump was subjected to a cognitive test, which he passed without difficulty, based on the results released.

In fact, a CT scan ruled out any possible cardiovascular problem.

The only medical recommendation for the head of the nation at that time consisted of urging him to consume around 325 milligrams of aspirin a day, this with the aim of reducing any risk of facing any cardiac complications.
