Congressional and state leaders, business owners, community activists and advocates from the West Coast raised their voices this Monday, August 10, in response to President Donald Trump's plans to accelerate the industrialization of California's coastlines.
Prior to the only public hearing for California residents to present their comments in person, leaders and activists held a press conference to warn about the projects that Trump wants to impose on the California coast.
The meeting took place before the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) meeting in Santa Monica, where community leaders and activists showed their support for the California coast.
