Marjorie Taylor Greene, former representative from Georgia, points to President Donald Trump as directly responsible for having plunged the United States into a deep crisis derived from his declaration of war issued against Iran.

In its most recent report, the Department of Labor announced that the annual inflation rate reached its highest level in three years.

In addition to this, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased 4.2% with 0.5% in May, which is worrying for the majority of Americans, since the war conflict in which the nation is immersed in the Middle East is far from being resolved.

In fact, the temporary ceasefire that had been agreed upon was broken by both sides, leaving in the air how far the energy crisis produced by the closure of the Strait of Ormus and the control exercised by the Islamic Republic in that part of the coastline shared with Oman can grow, which prevents the free transit of ships loaded with crude oil, fertilizers and countless products that supply the markets of other countries.

Faced with this problem, which fully impacted the finances of those residing in the United States, Marjorie Taylor Greene exploded against the interventionist policy of the current head of the White House, which she defines as something extremely harmful to the present and future of millions of people.

"Unbelievable!! This is exactly what Trump's war on Iran, costing billions every day, is doing to Americans. MAGA supporters used to call this Biden inflation and shout from the rooftops about this garbage.

"IT'S NOT WHAT WE CAMPAIGNED FOR. IT'S NOT WHAT THE PEOPLE VOTED FOR. THE NATION IS IN DECRISIS," he wrote in a post shared on platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

This statement came hours after Donald Trump not only dared to deny the bad times the US economy, affected by price increases, is going through, but also claimed to be fascinated with the increase in inflation.

"I love inflation. That's why oil is at $85 a barrel. We had just reached the all-time high in the stock market and the highest savings for retirement. The best economic situation we have ever had before the war with Iran," he mentioned.
