Despite the defeat against England, which left the Mexican team out of the 2026 World Cup, thousands of fans took to the streets of Southern California this Sunday night to celebrate, with flags and fireworks, the performance of the tricolor team in the Soccer World Cup.
In Orange County, around 9:00 p.m., fans gathered in the city of Santa Ana to wave Mexican flags amidst pyrotechnics, in addition to shaking vehicles that were in the streets, in an apparent celebration for the efforts of the Mexican team.
The practice of shaking vehicles is a recent trend that has become popular in Mexico after each of the matches that were held in the World Cup.
