More water pipe breaks reported in Los Angeles
Fractures in water mains in Echo Park and Jefferson Park have affected water services in several areas; 54 services and 4 hydrants affected are reported
This weekend, more incidents related to broken water mains were reported in different areas of the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Early this Sunday morning, a fracture was reported in a water main in the 2800 block of South Bronson Avenue, in the Jefferson Park area, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP).
City officials said the crack in the pipe occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m.
