Councilwoman Nithya Raman attended an event in North Hollywood with volunteers who helped her in the primary; Raman needs to expand his voter base
Councilwoman Nithya Raman started her campaign this weekend towards the November general elections in which she will compete against Karen Bass for the mayor of Los Angeles.
This Saturday, June 13, Raman attended an event in North Hollywood, where she thanked the team of volunteers for the support that helped her take second place in the primaries, a process in which she surpassed Spencer Pratt to advance to the November 3 elections.
"In April and May alone, volunteers knocked on almost 30,000 doors and made 100,000 phone calls. Our margin of victory, by the way, was 29,000 votes. Do the math, you did it," Raman told his team of volunteers.
