An Audi A6 Sportback e-tron performance completed 831 miles, equivalent to 1,338 kilometers, using a single battery charge.

The tour was not made on a closed track or under completely controlled conditions, but crossing Poland and sharing road with regular traffic.

At the wheel was Miko Marczyk, rally driver and current European champion of the specialty. The challenge began at 1:55 am on September 11 and ended more than 45 hours later, after passing through different points of the country and reaching the coastal town of Hel, along the Baltic Sea.
The crossing included cities such as Krakow, Sandomierz, Warsaw, Toruń and Grudziądz. Marczyk also faced moments of heavy traffic and temperature changes. The average was about 15 °C, although during the first hours of the morning the thermometer came to mark close to 7 °C in Grudziądz.
The journey ended between Toruń and Ciechocinek with exactly 831 miles traveled. That distance allowed the Audi electric model to set a new Guinness record for a single-charge electric vehicle.
The result also draws attention to recorded consumption, of just 7.09 kWh per 60 miles. With a net 94.9 kWh battery, the A6 Sportback e-tron performance used virtually all of the power available.
The model uses the PPE platform and was developed with special attention to reducing energy losses. Its aerodynamic coefficient is 0.21, a figure that Audi identifies as the lowest achieved by one of its models.
The brand itself notes that around 40% of the A6 Sportback e-tron’s consumption in the WLTP cycle is related to aerodynamic strength. Therefore, reducing air resistance has a direct effect on the energy needed to move forward.
The system can handle about 95% of daily braking through regeneration and reach up to 220 kW of recovery power.
The pilot explained that thoroughly knowing the behavior of the vehicle was key to achieving the result. The strategy was not simply to advance at low speed, but to anticipate traffic, take advantage of regeneration and constantly choose the most efficient way to drive.
The A6 Sportback e-tron performance used in the test delivers 367 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds.
The official WLTP range of the model reaches up to 483 miles, or about 777 kilometers. However, this tour demonstrated that, under an extremely efficient driving strategy, the car itself can largely outperform that benchmark.
