The Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ) issued a warning to U. S. consumers this week about the voluntary withdrawal of some cheese from Whole Foods supermarkets due to a typo that might be fatal to some customers.
The food was removed because, according to the health authority's assertion, it contains egg lysozyme, an ingredient that is not listed on the product brand, which poses a risk to consumers who have allergies or sensitivity to the egg.
The supermarket chain claims that the FDA's" special cheeses" bars were placed on the product, which has acrylic labels that clearly state its type, element, and weight.
The yogurt were sold in at least 18 venues across state like Arizona, California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island, according to the FDA.
No cases of people being impacted by the consumption of these foods have been reported to date, but the organization has advised consumers who have or suspect chicken hatred to throw the product away or transfer it to the business where they purchased it for a refund.
