A 10-year-old boy and his father died in a crash that occurred Friday afternoon involving a Cal Fire fire truck in the town of Hemet, Riverside County.
In addition to the boy and his father, several other people had to be evaluated at hospitals for possible injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident occurred shortly after noon on Friday, June 5, at the intersection of Domenigoni Parkway and State Street in Hemet.
