The discovery of a large amount of illegal fireworks at a home in South Los Angeles forced evacuation orders to be issued in the area, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported.
The illegal fireworks were discovered shortly after 6:00 a.m., when LAPD officers executed a search and arrest warrant at a home in the 100 block of East 85th Street, north of Manchester Avenue.
According to the LAPD, the arrest warrant was related to a domestic violence incident involving a firearm.
