The Los Angeles County District Prosecutor’s Office announced charges of second-degree murder against Bailee Ríos for her alleged responsibility for provoking the car crash in Chatsworth on Tuesday night against a Metro bus, in which two people died.

At a press conference, prosecutor Nathan Hochman announced on Thursday afternoon the charges against Ríos, a 36-year-old resident of Simi Valley.

Hochman said Ríos also faces additional charges for driving under influence and for misconduct.
