The National Weather Service ( NWS ) announced on Sunday that a storm system is moving toward Southern California after the region experienced weekend heavy rains.

The new storm's results are anticipated to start on Sunday evening and last through Wednesday morning.

Monday, with moderate to heavy rain expected in Ventura, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties in the Los Angeles basin and over the Los Angeles lake. According to scientists, precipitation is expected to reach half an inch per minute, enough to cause minimal flooding in low-lying places with poor drainage.
