Beyoncé Knowles-Carter returned to social media in the most glamorous way possible. The 44-year-old singer took advantage of the 2026 Super Bowl to share a series of snapshots on Instagram that show her looking more radiant than ever, debuting a daring blonde bob haircut to kick off her year.

In the six untitled photographs, the singer can be seen aboard a private jet, posing next to a large screen television displaying a banner with the phrase "Game Day". 

To give the moment an even more authentic touch, one of the images has the date "February 8, 2026" printed on it, simulating the aesthetics of a disposable camera. 

For the occasion, Queen Bey opted for a monochromatic look in shades of green that certainly didn't go unnoticed. Outside the plane, she sported a luxurious long green trench coat from Rowen Rose with a striking embossed pattern, which she perfectly paired with a matching bamboo-handled handbag.

But it was when she took off her coat that she revealed her true "mid-season" outfit: a Khaite off-the-shoulder bodysuit, which she paired with high-waisted green stirrup leggings from the brand Seroya, valued at $228. 

I complete the outfit with a pony hair belt from the Dehanche brand and some dark red shoes.

In another of the photos, Beyonce poses inside the jet wearing an elegant green crocodile-print pantsuit, while holding a pennant that says “TOUCHDOWN”. 

A triumphant return to social media

Although neither paparazzi nor event cameras managed to capture the singer inside Levi's Stadium, images confirmed her presence at the game. In one of the photographs, the stadium can be seen in the background through the airplane window, where Beyoncé appears reclining in an elegant private lounge.

The artist's prolonged absence from social media and public events has made this post quite an event. Her followers were quick to react with messages of affection and excitement. "Oh, I missed you so much!" wrote one fan, while another celebrated with emojis: "??? She's back!"

This new haircut marks a radical change in her image, as Beyoncé had maintained her long hair for years. It's not the first time the singer has opted for a bob; she sported one about a decade ago, but since then she had chosen to wear it much longer. 

Her last major public appearance was at the Las Vegas F1 Grand Prix, where she still sported curls that fell below her chest.
