Peruvian television personality Laura Bozzo's health status was clarified by her family, putting an end to recent social media speculation surrounding her alleged death. In an exclusive interview on the Peruvian show "Love and Fire", Bozzo's daughter, Victoria de La Fuente, revealed that her mother had faced a life-threatening situation, narrowly avoiding a serious outcome.

A medical emergency unfolded at Bozzo's residence in Acapulco, Mexico, when he suddenly experienced severe abdominal pain during the night. His daughter, who was present at the residence, swiftly responded by summoning an ambulance to transport him to a nearby medical center for immediate treatment.

Following an initial evaluation, medical experts determined that the presenter had suffered a severe ulcer, which had triggered a life-threatening case of peritonitis. Immediate medical intervention is credited with saving her life, according to Victoria. The presenter's condition was extremely critical upon admission, with hospital staff initially estimating a 10% chance of survival, necessitating an emergency surgery.

Laura Bozzo was subsequently relocated to the General Hospital of Mexico City in an effort to increase the complexity of her medical care. In response to concerns that the family was facing financial difficulties due to the initial decision not to seek treatment at a private clinic, De La Fuente clarified that the family's unfamiliarity with Acapulco's healthcare system was the reason for the initial transfer.

The presenter's condition worsened, requiring prolonged treatment in the Intensive Care Unit, where they were intubated and reliant on life-supporting equipment. Victoria described the situation as the most challenging she had encountered, noting that her mother required mechanical assistance to both regulate her breathing and manage her heart pressure.

The situation has taken a positive turn for Bozzo, who has been moved out of intensive care and into a standard hospital room. While a specific discharge date has not been set, her daughter reports that Bozzo is now speaking clearly and has regained her normal personality.

The family expressed regret over the proliferation of false reports regarding his passing and chose to disregard criticism surrounding his actions during the crisis.
